My bookshelves!

Okay, so I’ve been meaning to do this for a while.

These are my bookshelves:

image
gaming shelves

imagefantasy and sci-fi

imageurban fantasy, “horror”, assorted YA, children’s, humor, and the start of historical romance

imagehistorical romance, contemporary romance, paranormal romance, and the start of historical fiction

imagehistorical fiction and just plain fiction

imagemore fiction, history/biography, sociology/fairy tales, nonfiction - food, nonfiction - sexuality and gender studies, literary criticism

image
meta & lit crit, Christian writing, Bibles & other holy books, Literature (I didn’t take a picture of my actual Literature shelf - it’s in another part of the house and is currently irredemably messy), assorted art, sexuality, fiber arts, and other books.

imageand finally, my graphic novel & manga shelves.

*I have books missing in the shelves, cos they’re in my TBR stack. Also not pictured: my Nook, which houses roughly another 100 books in digital format.

Sorry for the crappy picture quality - they were taken on my phone, and my room doesn’t have the best lighting in the world.

I need a comfy place filled with bean bag chairs and papasans and comfy couches, where we just gather, and read.

Maybe there’s a little cafe where you can order munchies or coffee or even small meals (like sandwich plates or something).

And it’s quiet, and has soft background music, and it’s a reading cafe. Not studying. Not spread-out-and-have-a-meeting. (Saw the Borders Cafe get taken over for things like this WAY too often.) Just, a comfy place to get lost in a book.

Alright, enough Tumblring for now. Back to whittling down my TBR list!
